Thu Tran - One the Greatest Artists on Earth

Image
What you are seeing here, is an episode from "The Misguided Guide to the Origin of Everything." There were 31 episodes created and currently available on YouTube. Thu Tran and her gang of artsy friends created a show, sort of like an adult's Pee-Wee's playhouse called "Food Party." Sure, there are a lot of great artists, but what I love about Thu, is that she seems to embody the perpetual 12-year-old inside of all of us. She seems to love and enjoy what she creates.  Her art is amusing. I have adored her since I first saw Food Party over a decade ago.   *finger snaps*

Leonardo da Vinci's 'Salvator Mundi' fetches 450 Million

Fetching 450 million is a strong nod to the significance of its symbolism. This is my new favorite painting.  *finger snaps*

Leonardo DiCaprio - One of the Greatest Actors of Our Age

Image
I certainly wouldn't say I'm fanatical about him, and this is important to note from the get-go, because I'm about to ooze and gush over him hardcore.  It's important to note I am speaking about his skills as an actor. You know, art is supposed to communicate something.  To the degree that it communicates that, and that something is desired to be duplicated by the observer - it is admired.  Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor - because he communicates well.  One of the early testaments to that is how well his early early work turned out.  I love a lot of his later work as well.  I love basically everything he has done because is is a SUPERB actor.  I mean, come on. *finger snaps*

Caves Created by a Lost Ancient Civilization with Machines?

Image
I have always been a firm believer that mankind is much older than popular belief, or at least someone was here before.  Look carefully at these cut marks and the precision of the cuts.  Do you believe several workers huddled together on that spot with a hand tool and scraped the cave away?  Haha no way.  That's machinery marks. These caves are in China, by the way.  However such evidence is global.

Mikey Chen's Parents Practice Fauln Gong Meditation | China Persecutes That Now, Harvests Prisoners Organs

Image
He explains it very well. This is Mikey Chen, one of my favorite YouTubers.  Normally I watch him to see him devour delicious food from all over the world.  However in this video, about 10min in, he talks about "Fauln Gong" which is a sort of exercise meditation, popular in China. Due to the ideologies (or be it fears) the Chinese Communist regime, it is now illegal to practice Fauln Gong in China.  The Chinese government has been caught stealing organs from those imprisoned for practicing Fauln Gong, as they are typically seen to have healthier organs.  There is a documentary on it is here:  http://harvestedalive.com/ Although he did this video in 2017, it's an important time to consider the past acts of the Chinese government, with Covid-19 looming around.  Just saying.

Elon Musk - Doll Face, Genius, Lover of Life

Image
The other day was one of the first times I can recall hearing Elon Musk talk.  I know he's very famous, he's an icon of our age, and yet like so many others, I just knew general facts.  I'm not a car person, and the only engineering I do is on my paint program. This interview and/or discussion was amazing.  Surely a lot of people admire him for his skills and accomplishments, but I went beyond that and felt a love and admiration for the person as a humanitarian. I have jelly stickers on my mirror right now which say "Reach for the Stars," ... I too am a star reacher, like my mom.  And although the idea of populating Mars sort of depresses me on account of how difficult life would be there with limited resources and the inability to breath outside - populating outer space is within our reach.  I for one think we should build a space station on or near the moon, in order to begin genetically increasing our bone mass for the purpose of deep space travel. Charles Kos - Modern Day Indiana Jones

One of my favorite pastimes is to consider old civilizations.  I'm one of those people who believe that civilization on Earth is much older than we've been taught in school.  It's a touchy subject, which is why looking at the geological evidence is a pleasant way to hypothesize the possibilities of what was once there.
